As with a lot of the islands found scattered across the west of Scotland, Skye has some truly stunning beaches and dramatic coastline. This series of images was captured whilst touring the Isle of Skye; and island shaped from rough seas and ever-changing weather.

Made by the sea.

Having had the pleasure of travelling up through Glencoe some time ago, I was presented with the opportunity of grabbing some shots of it’s fantastic landscape. The weather wasn’t kind, however that did result in some dramatic shots.

I experimented with some ND filters on my camera some time ago. The filter allowed me to shoot at much slower shutter speeds in daylight. These shots were taken at high and low force, in Teesdale over a period of around 15-20 seconds at quite small apertures.
